Authors, reviewers, and editors are required to read, understand, and comply with all policies outlined below prior to manuscript submission and during the publication lifecycle.
1 Aim & Scope
Nrityanjali Nexus International Journal of Advanced Studies (NNIJAS), published by Nrityanjali Publication, aims to provide a professional platform for the publication and dissemination of original, innovative, and academically significant research. The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, conceptual, methodological, and interdisciplinary research from diverse academic disciplines. NNIJAS encourages research that contributes meaningful knowledge, addresses contemporary issues, and demonstrates sound academic methodology. Researchers, academicians, faculty members, research scholars, and professionals may submit manuscripts relevant to the scope of the journal. The journal seeks to promote responsible scholarly communication, academic excellence, and research integrity. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's editorial, ethical, originality, and peer-review requirements. Publication decisions are based on academic merit, relevance, originality, and overall research quality.
2 Publication Guidelines
Authors submitting manuscripts to NNIJAS must ensure that their research follows the journal's academic, ethical, and publication requirements. Manuscripts should be original, clearly written, properly structured, and relevant to the journal's scope. Authors must ensure that the work has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. The manuscript should contain appropriate sections such as title, abstract, keywords, main research content, conclusion, and references according to the nature of the study. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their research, proper citation of sources, originality of content, and compliance with ethical requirements. Manuscripts may undergo editorial screening, plagiarism checking, peer review, revision, proofreading, and final editorial assessment before publication. Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance or publication. Authors are expected to carefully read and comply with all applicable journal policies before submitting their research.
3 Manuscript Submission Guidelines
Authors should submit their manuscripts through the official submission channel prescribed by NNIJAS. The manuscript should preferably be prepared in an editable Microsoft Word format and should be carefully proofread before submission. Author names, institutional affiliations, corresponding author details, abstract, keywords, main manuscript, tables, figures, and references should be clearly presented. Authors must ensure that the submitted file is complete and does not contain unnecessary comments, tracked changes, or personal notes. The manuscript should follow the journal's prescribed formatting and structural requirements. Authors must ensure that all listed authors have approved the manuscript and agreed to its submission. Any copyrighted or third-party material should be used only with appropriate permission and acknowledgement where required. Manuscripts that are incomplete, outside the journal's scope, or do not meet basic submission requirements may be returned to the authors before further editorial consideration.
4 Research Integrity Policy
NNIJAS is committed to maintaining high standards of research integrity and academic honesty. Authors must conduct and report their research honestly, accurately, and responsibly. Research data, methodology, findings, analysis, and conclusions must not be fabricated, falsified, manipulated, or deliberately misrepresented. Authors should accurately describe the research procedures and should not intentionally conceal important information that may affect the interpretation of the findings. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data manipulation, fabricated information, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. Authors should maintain appropriate research records and supporting information wherever applicable. If a significant error is discovered in a submitted or published manuscript, the authors should promptly inform the Editorial Board. The journal may investigate allegations of research misconduct and may request explanations or supporting evidence. Where serious misconduct is established, appropriate editorial action may include rejection, withdrawal, correction, or retraction.
5 Originality & Plagiarism Policy
NNIJAS requires every submitted manuscript to be original and free from plagiarism and other forms of unauthorized academic copying. Authors must properly acknowledge all ideas, quotations, data, findings, theories, figures, tables, and other materials obtained from previous sources. Authors are responsible for checking their manuscripts through a reliable plagiarism or similarity-detection system before submission. The journal may independently conduct a plagiarism or similarity check during editorial screening, peer review, or publication. Self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate copying, fabricated references, and deliberate manipulation of similarity reports are not acceptable. Properly cited references, standard academic terminology, and legitimate quotations may sometimes produce similarity and will be evaluated according to their context. Manuscripts containing substantial plagiarism or serious originality concerns may be rejected or returned for correction. If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal may take appropriate action, including correction, withdrawal, or retraction, depending on the seriousness of the matter.
6 AI-Assisted Content Policy
NNIJAS recognizes that authors may use artificial intelligence tools for limited purposes such as grammar correction, language improvement, translation assistance, formatting, or general editorial support. However, authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, authenticity, and academic integrity of the manuscript. AI tools must not be used to fabricate data, research findings, references, citations, evidence, or misleading academic content. Authors should carefully verify all information generated or assisted by AI tools before submission. AI-generated content should not replace the author's genuine scholarly analysis, interpretation, or intellectual contribution. Where required, significant use of AI-assisted tools should be appropriately disclosed. AI systems cannot be listed as authors because they cannot accept responsibility for the research. The Editorial Board may request clarification regarding the use of AI-assisted content. Manuscripts containing fabricated, misleading, excessive, or improperly disclosed AI-generated academic content may be returned, revised, or rejected.
7 Data Authenticity & Research Transparency
Authors must ensure that all data presented in their manuscripts are genuine, accurate, and derived from legitimate research procedures. Data must not be fabricated, falsified, manipulated, selectively altered, or presented in a misleading manner. Authors should clearly describe relevant research methods, data sources, sampling procedures, instruments, analytical techniques, and limitations according to the nature of the study. Statistical analyses should be appropriate and accurately reported. Where ethically and legally appropriate, authors should retain supporting datasets, research records, instruments, or other materials for verification. Confidential or personal information must be appropriately protected. Authors should distinguish clearly between actual findings, interpretations, assumptions, and opinions. Funding information, ethical approval, relevant limitations, and conflicts of interest should be disclosed where applicable. If significant errors are discovered in the data or analysis after submission or publication, authors should promptly inform the Editorial Board. Transparency and data authenticity are essential for maintaining confidence in published research.
8 Authorship & Author Contribution Policy
Authorship in NNIJAS should reflect genuine and substantial academic contribution to the research and manuscript. Individuals should be listed as authors only when they have contributed meaningfully to the conception, design, methodology, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, or critical revision of the research. All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission and publication. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the journal and should ensure that all authors are informed about the publication process. Gift, honorary, guest, or ghost authorship is not acceptable. Individuals who provide limited assistance but do not meet authorship requirements may be acknowledged appropriately. Any change in authorship after submission should be supported by a valid reason and may require confirmation from all affected authors. Authors should provide accurate contribution information whenever requested. Each author remains responsible for the integrity of their contribution and should cooperate with the Editorial Board if questions regarding authorship arise.
9 Conflict of Interest Policy
NNIJAS seeks to ensure that research and publication decisions remain fair, objective, and academically independent. Authors must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest that may influence their research, interpretation, or publication. Conflicts may include financial relationships, employment, consultancy, funding arrangements, institutional affiliations, personal relationships, professional competition, or intellectual property interests. The existence of a conflict does not necessarily prevent publication, but it should be disclosed transparently. Reviewers must also declare any conflict that could affect their impartiality and should decline a review assignment when necessary. Editors should not handle manuscripts where a personal, professional, or financial relationship could influence the editorial decision. Authors are responsible for providing complete and accurate disclosure information. Failure to disclose a significant conflict may lead to further editorial investigation and appropriate action. The journal aims to manage conflicts transparently so that editorial and peer-review decisions are based primarily on the quality, originality, relevance, methodology, and scholarly contribution of the manuscript.
10 Research Ethics & Ethical Approval
NNIJAS expects research involving human participants, personal information, interviews, surveys, observations, vulnerable groups, clinical activities, or other ethically sensitive procedures to comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements. Where required, authors should obtain approval from an appropriate institutional or recognized ethics committee before conducting the research. Informed consent should be obtained from participants wherever applicable, and participants' privacy, dignity, confidentiality, and voluntary participation must be respected. Identifiable personal information, photographs, or sensitive data should not be published without appropriate permission or consent where required. Additional safeguards should be applied when research involves children or vulnerable populations. Authors should clearly mention relevant ethical approval and consent information in the manuscript where applicable. Research involving animals should follow appropriate ethical and welfare standards. The Editorial Board may request evidence of ethical approval, informed consent, or related documentation where necessary. Failure to comply with applicable research ethics requirements may result in rejection, withdrawal, correction, or retraction depending on the seriousness of the concern.
11 Citation & Reference Integrity Policy
Authors must maintain accuracy and honesty in all citations and references included in their manuscripts. All ideas, theories, concepts, data, methods, quotations, and findings obtained from previous research should be appropriately acknowledged. References should be relevant, reliable, and directly connected with the manuscript. Authors should carefully verify author names, publication titles, dates, journal details, volume, issue, pages, DOI, and other bibliographic information wherever applicable. Every source cited in the manuscript should appear in the reference list, and every listed reference should be appropriately cited in the text. Fabricated references, misleading citations, excessive self-citation, irrelevant citations, and citation manipulation intended to artificially increase citation counts are not acceptable. Authors should make reasonable efforts to consult original sources. The Editorial Board may request corrections to inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate references before publication. Proper citation protects intellectual property, acknowledges previous scholarship, strengthens academic credibility, and allows readers to verify and further explore the sources supporting the research.
12 Editorial Screening Policy
Every manuscript submitted to NNIJAS undergoes an initial editorial screening before proceeding to peer review. The Editorial Team evaluates whether the manuscript falls within the journal's scope and meets basic requirements relating to originality, academic quality, structure, relevance, formatting, and ethical compliance. The manuscript may also be examined for plagiarism or similarity, inappropriate content, inadequate referencing, methodological concerns, and other issues affecting its suitability. Manuscripts that are clearly outside the journal's scope, substantially incomplete, poorly prepared, or associated with serious academic or ethical concerns may be returned or rejected at this stage. Editorial screening is a preliminary quality-control process and does not constitute final acceptance. Manuscripts that successfully pass this stage may be forwarded to appropriate subject experts for peer review. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make screening decisions based on the journal's standards and scope while maintaining confidentiality, fairness, and academic independence. Passing editorial screening does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
13 Peer Review Policy
NNIJAS follows a structured peer-review process to evaluate the academic quality and scholarly contribution of submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts that successfully pass editorial screening may be sent to qualified reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The journal may follow a Double-Blind Peer Review process in which the identities of authors and reviewers remain confidential during review. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts on originality, research methodology, literature, analysis, interpretation, relevance, academic quality, and contribution to knowledge. Reviewers are expected to provide fair, objective, confidential, and constructive comments. Based on reviewer recommendations and editorial assessment, a manuscript may be accepted, returned for minor or major revision, or rejected. Authors may be required to respond to reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript. Revised manuscripts may undergo further review when necessary. The final decision rests with the Editor-in-Chief or authorized Editorial Board. Peer review is intended to maintain scholarly quality and does not constitute a guarantee of acceptance or publication.
14 Publication Ethics & COPE Compliance
NNIJAS is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, confidentiality, and responsible scholarly communication. Authors, reviewers, editors, and the publication team are expected to follow principles of honesty, fairness, accountability, and professional conduct. Plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, data manipulation, and other forms of academic misconduct are prohibited. Authors must submit original work, provide appropriate citations, disclose relevant conflicts of interest, and take responsibility for the integrity of their research. Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and provide objective evaluations, while editors should make independent and unbiased decisions based on academic quality. The journal aims to follow the broad principles and good publication practices promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Complaints or allegations of misconduct may be examined by the Editorial Board. Depending on the seriousness of an established concern, the journal may reject, withdraw, correct, or retract a manuscript or published article.
15 Revision & Acceptance Policy
Manuscripts requiring revision will be returned to authors with appropriate editorial or reviewer comments. Authors are expected to carefully consider the comments and make necessary academic, methodological, structural, or language-related improvements. A revised manuscript should clearly address the concerns raised during the review process and should be submitted within the period specified by the Editorial Office. Where appropriate, authors may provide a response explaining how significant reviewer comments have been addressed. The revised manuscript may be evaluated again by the original reviewers or other qualified reviewers depending on the nature of the revisions. Final acceptance is based on the quality of the revised manuscript, satisfactory response to reviewer comments, originality, research integrity, and compliance with the journal's policies. Acceptance is formally communicated by the Editorial Board. Even after provisional acceptance, necessary editorial corrections or clarifications may be requested before final publication. Authors should not consider a manuscript accepted until an official acceptance decision has been communicated by the authorized Editorial Office.
16 Correction, Retraction & Withdrawal Policy
NNIJAS is committed to maintaining an accurate and trustworthy academic record. Before publication, authors may request withdrawal of a manuscript by providing an appropriate reason and following the journal's prescribed procedure. After publication, minor errors that do not materially affect the research may be addressed through a correction. Where substantial errors, unreliable data, plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, serious ethical violations, or other significant concerns undermine the reliability of a published article, the journal may consider retraction. Where a serious concern requires further investigation, an appropriate notice may be issued. Authors are expected to inform the Editorial Board promptly if they discover a significant error in their published work. The Editorial Board may request explanations or supporting evidence before making a decision. Corrections and retractions will be handled transparently and appropriately identified in the journal's published record. The primary purpose of this policy is to protect the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of the scholarly literature.
17 Copyright & Open Access Policy
NNIJAS aims to make published scholarly research widely accessible through its Open Access approach and applicable publication practices. Authors are responsible for ensuring that submitted manuscripts are original and that they have the necessary rights or permissions to use third-party copyrighted material, including photographs, figures, tables, illustrations, instruments, and substantial quotations. Authors must not knowingly submit material that violates the copyright or intellectual property rights of another person or organization. Upon publication, the applicable copyright and licensing conditions of the journal shall govern the use, reproduction, distribution, and archiving of the published article. Authors and readers should provide appropriate academic citation when using or referring to published material. Any reuse, reproduction, adaptation, or redistribution must comply with applicable copyright and licence requirements. Authors should also ensure that the manuscript has not been submitted elsewhere in a manner that creates conflicting publication rights. NNIJAS seeks to support wider access to academic knowledge while respecting authors' intellectual property and the legitimate rights of copyright holders.
18 Publication Charges & Transparency
NNIJAS, published by Nrityanjali Publication, maintains transparency regarding all charges associated with manuscript submission, processing, review, or publication. The applicable publication-charge policy shall be clearly communicated to authors through the journal's official platform or authorized Editorial Office. Authors should verify the latest fee information before making any payment. No author should make payment to an individual or third party claiming to represent the journal without confirmation through an official communication channel. Where a charge is applicable, it should be communicated transparently and separately from the editorial decision-making process. Payment of any applicable charge does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript. Every manuscript must independently satisfy the journal's originality, ethical, academic, editorial, and peer-review requirements. The journal does not support hidden or unauthorized charges. Any updates to publication charges or related financial policies will be communicated through appropriate official channels.
19 Author Declaration
By submitting a manuscript to NNIJAS, the author or corresponding author confirms that the submitted work is original and has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal or publication. The author confirms that all listed authors have made appropriate contributions, have reviewed the manuscript, and have agreed to its submission and publication. The author further confirms that all sources, quotations, ideas, data, figures, tables, and other intellectual contributions have been properly acknowledged and cited. Authors are responsible for ensuring compliance with the journal's plagiarism, research ethics, authorship, conflict of interest, copyright, and publication policies. Where applicable, necessary ethical approval, informed consent, permissions, and institutional requirements should have been fulfilled. The corresponding author is responsible for communication with the Editorial Office and for providing accurate information and supporting documents when requested. Authors agree to cooperate during editorial screening, peer review, revision, proofreading, and post-publication processes. If a significant error or ethical concern is identified, authors agree to cooperate with the Editorial Board in investigating and resolving the matter appropriately.
20 Publication Timeline
NNIJAS aims to process submitted manuscripts efficiently while maintaining appropriate standards of editorial assessment, peer review, revision, proofreading, and final publication. The time required for publication may vary depending on the quality and complexity of the manuscript, availability of suitable reviewers, reviewer response time, revisions required, author response time, editorial workload, and production requirements. After submission, manuscripts first undergo editorial screening and, where appropriate, plagiarism or originality checks. Suitable manuscripts may then proceed to peer review. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts before final acceptance. After acceptance, the article may undergo formatting, proofreading, reference checking, and final publication procedures. Authors should understand that publication may take time and that submission does not guarantee immediate publication or a fixed publication date. Authors are encouraged to respond promptly to editorial communications and revision requests to avoid unnecessary delays. Any timeline provided by the journal should be regarded as an indicative estimate rather than an absolute guarantee, as peer review and publication depend on several factors beyond the direct control of the journal.
